no. 2 the over-optimization era is collapsing
no.3 the nervous system is the new wellness frontier

How we take care of ourselves is changing rapidly, and so are the needs of your employees. Can your business change too?*

(*AND HOW DOES THIS LOOK IN THE CORPORATE WORLD?)

We live in a culture where almost everything has become optimised. Technology asks us to track, monitor, analyse and share everything, so there is always something to do, and everything feels like work. Over time, this affects how people operate, because they’re highly stressed and their nervous systems are disregulated.

This means decisions are reactive, ideas become safe, and problem-solving is limited. Not because people lack ability, but because they don’t have the space to think differently.

With Find A Creative Mind,
I help people create that space.

The corporate dilemma…productivity is important, but people are existing in a constant state of pressure.

I used to think that because I loved my job, I couldn’t burn out. Then one day, the ideas stopped flowing.

Creativity has always been a source of peace for me, and ideas always came naturally. But when I made it my career, over time, this shifted. After a decade of constant deadlines, and pressure to deliver, I felt there was little space for genuine exploration or original thinking, and I started to resent a career I’d worked so hard to create.

But I also became more curious about what was happening underneath this feeling. Why did I feel so overwhelmed, and why did this cause me to disconnect from my creative mind? I’m now training as a person-centred counsellor, which has helped me understand more about how people experience stress, and how this impacts their ability to think, and create. That’s why I created Find A Creative Mind.

On this journey, creativity has become my happy place again, but I’ve also come to realise how important pure creative thinking is, especially in the world of corporate productivity.

the truth is, by weaving in just a little more space, rest, and playful exploration, the balance can be restored, and the ideas can start flowing once again.*

(*AND PRODUCTIVITY USUALLY NATURALLY IMPROVES TOO)

Why does this matter? The truth is, most people want to work hard, and build a fulfilling career, but they feel disillusioned and overwhelmed.

There’s no need to share the stats around mental health, because its become a part of our culture that’s difficult to ignore. We are all aware of rising struggles around stress, burnout, and disconnection, and these challenges don’t exist separately from work. The way people feel directly impacts how they think, communicate, collaborate, and perform.

Supporting your team isn’t just about wellbeing initiatives, it’s about creating healthier, more sustainable ways of working. Because when people are more grounded, and connected, they don’t just feel better, they work better too.

Even small opportunities to slow down, and reconnect change this, both for the individual and for the wider culture of a business.

Retreat Case Study

Mobsta, a London-based B Corp media company specialising in geo-behavioural intelligence and audience insight, came to me asking for something different. Rather than focusing on strategy sessions or traditional team-building exercises, the intention was to create the conditions for people to slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and connect with each other outside of the usual pressures of work.

The feedback spoke for itself.‍ ‍

This 2 day experience combined yoga, hiking, sauna and cold plunge and a creative sound session (as well as healthy plant-based food). The group were mostly beginners at these activities, but they all reported feeling calmer and clearer after even this short time.
